The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) 2025 has wrapped up another successful year, with three days of innovation, learning, and networking at ICC Sydney. Thousands of professionals from across the hospitality, club, and hotel industries came together to explore what’s new, what’s changing, and what’s next for the venue.
Seminar Program Delivers Actionable Insights
The AGE Seminar Program was once again a standout feature of the event, offering fresh perspectives and practical strategies tailored for venue leaders.
- Tuesday kicked off with a regulatory deep dive, where Jamie Nettleton (Addisons) and experts from AUSTRAC, Ebet Systems, and Bankstown Sports Group provided guidance on navigating tightening AML and CTF requirements. Later that morning, global product leaders from Aristocrat, Ebet, Light & Wonder, and Konami explored the future of gaming machines, offering insights into innovation and player engagement.
- Wednesday focused on workforce capability, venue design, and technology adoption. From practical compliance strategies with Clyde Mooney (PubTIC) and industry consultants, to discussions on sustainable design trends with leading architects, the day closed with a panel on digital transformation, offering real-world steps for venues embracing change.
- Thursday celebrated leadership and diversity, beginning with the always-popular Global Gaming Women’s Breakfast. This was followed by powerful sessions featuring established leaders, rising stars, and women driving industry change across venues, investment, and operations.
Awards and Winners
AGE also celebrated excellence and innovation on the show floor:
- The Best Shell Scheme Stand Award was presented to Bitesize Group, recognised for outstanding exhibitor presentation.
- The Steve Cowan Memorial Award, presented to Simtech, honoured forward-thinking solutions shaping the future of the industry.
The excitement didn’t stop there. Each day, one lucky visitor took home a Royal Caribbean Cruise for two, with three winners across the event. Congratulations to all who walked away with this unforgettable prize.
Adding to the fun, the AGE mobile app’s leaderboard competition kept visitors engaged throughout the expo. Congratulations to Bosko from St George Leagues Club, who topped the leaderboard and scored himself an Apple iPad.
Welcoming New Exhibitors
This year also saw many new names joining the AGE community. A warm thank you to Cubic Promote, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Evergreen, who exhibited with us for the first time and supported the event through promotional items and products. Your presence added new energy and fresh perspectives to the show.
Looking Ahead
From the buzzing show floor to inspiring seminars, AGE 2025 reinforced its reputation as the must-attend event for the industry. Thank you to all exhibitors, speakers, and visitors who made this year’s expo a success.
We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for another year of discovery, connection, and industry progress.
AGE will return to ICC Sydney from 11-13 August 2026.
