EXHIBITOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Terms of entry for AGE Exhibitors. By attending the Australian Gaming Expo you agree to and accept the following terms and conditions:

  • The AGE is a trade exhibition, for management representatives of gaming and hospitality industry organisations only, including clubs, hotels, casinos, resorts and similar hospitality industry establishments. Representatives of related organisations such as government, regulatory, research and support bodies, are generally welcome, subject to the approval of the organisers. Proof of affiliation with one of these organisations may be required.
  • Entrance is by authorised Entry Badge only.
  • Entry Badges are not transferable.
  • Entry Badges must be always worn in plain view.
  • Proof of identity may be required.
  • Any Entry Badge not matching the identity of the wearer will be confiscated.
  • Any person attempting to enter the event using another person’s Entry Badge will be excluded from the event.
  • Nobody under 18 years of age (including infants) may enter the Exhibition.
  • The organiser may conduct searches of exhibitors and their bags at any time.
  • Dangerous items, food and drink (including alcohol) must not be brought into the Expo and animals are only permitted with consent, or as permitted by law.
  • Smoking is not permitted.
  • You must comply with all requests and directions of the organiser and/or venue owner and act in a respectful and orderly manner.
  • You must not make any video or audio recordings at the Expo without the consent of the venue owner and the organiser.
  • You must not obstruct any passages in or exits from the venue.
  • You must not cause any damage to the venue or anything in or at the venue, including any third party property. You agree that you will be liable to pay for the cost of repairing any damage or replacing a damaged item that you cause.
  • Entry into the venue is at your own risk and, to the extent permitted by law, the organiser will not be liable for any death or injury, loss or damage suffered or incurred in connection with the Expo, including as a result of any negligence by the organiser.
  • The organiser (and each of its employees and sub-contractors) may make photographic, video and/or audio recordings of the Expo which may include your image or likeness. You agree that the organiser may use and reproduce such footage for its purposes including the promotion of the organiser and its future events without acknowledgement or payment to you.
  • All activities must be conducted within the floor plan boundaries of the display stand, including during Move-in and Move-out. The assembly of all stand elements must be confined to the exhibitor’s stand area (ie: no construction activity is permitted in aisles or on other exhibitors’ stands).
  • All exhibits must be contained within the area of the stand. At no time during the event can aisles be blocked, either partially or completely.
  • All exhibits must provide access for firefighting equipment and be designed in accordance with the Building Code of Australia and to the satisfaction of the ICC Sydney.
  • Exhibitors must ensure that all temporary structures built for the exhibition comply with the Building Code of Australia and all other statutory regulations current at the time of construction, including requirements for egress and exit, height, fire safety and flammability rating of materials. Custom stand exhibitors are to refer to, and comply with, Custom Stand Exhibitor Entitlements and Requirements when designing and constructing their stand.
  • Exhibitors are not permitted to use the rear or side walls of any adjoining stand for any purpose, including the fixing or hanging of any object.   Exhibitors are not permitted to fix, drill, screw, glue or in any other way attach any items to the walls, ceilings, or floors of the venue.
  • Connection to any venue service may only be completed by a contractor authorised by the Exhibition Organiser.
  • The use of LP Gas or any Flammable Liquid within the venue is subject to approval by the event Organiser and venue management; and subject to appropriate prior arrangements being completed with the venue.
  • Lighter than air balloons (helium etc) are only permitted as fixed features on the stand.  The use of any such balloons is subject to approval by the event Organiser and venue management.  Any cost incurred for Fire Brigade false alarm call-outs or removal of balloons is the responsibility of the exhibitor using those balloons.
  • Aisles or venue service areas or storerooms are not to be used for storage of any products or packaging. Storage facilities are not provided by the venue. Please contact the Show Floor Manager if you require onsite storage or contact the Freight Logistics Co-ordinator for offsite storage.
  • No promotional activity may be conducted in any area of the event other than on that exhibitor’s stand, without prior written authorisation from the Event Organiser.
  • The use of motorized vehicles or appliances, including hoverboards, other than certified assistance vehicles are not permitted to be operated within the venue.
  • Ambush Marketing by Non-Exhibitors.
  • Exhibitors concerned that visitors to the Expo are conducting business activities within the Expo, or causing disruption the activities on their stand, are advised to notify the Organisers Office at the back of Hall 4.
  • No sound presentation or amplification, musical instruments, or similar equipment capable of reaching or exceeding the maximum sound level of 80dba may be used without prior written authorisation from the Organiser. During the event approval may be withdrawn, or restrictions placed on the operation of, any such equipment that is deemed by the Organiser to be an annoyance to any event participant.
  • Images produced by light projectors of any type must not be projected onto any surface other than the exhibitor’s own stand fixtures without prior written approval from the Organiser.   During the event, approval may be withdrawn, or restrictions placed on the operation of, any such equipment that is deemed by the organiser to be an annoyance to any event participant.
  • Any competition conducted by any business or trade exhibitor that offers a chance to win a prize of any type requires a permit to conduct that competition from the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing. Please advise exhibitors@austgamingexpo.com of your promotion so that it can be promoted to visitors to the event.
  • Open footwear is not permitted to be worn within the exhibition halls or loading dock at any time during the move-out and move-in. Open footwear is permitted within the exhibition halls during event operational hours.
  • All personnel are required to wear High Visibility Clothing during the Move In and Move Out days under NSW’s Work Health and Safety Act 2011.   Note also that the HVC requirement applies whenever forklifts are operating in the Exhibition Halls.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, evict and/or cancel your registration or your organisation’s registration in its absolute discretion, including without limitation if you breach any of these terms.
