EEAA Awards For Excellence

The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) has announced today that the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA) is a finalist in the 2019 EEAA Awards for Excellence, for the 2019 Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE). The EEAA is the peak industry Association representing Organisers, Venues and Suppliers within the exhibition and event sectors, and the Awards celebrate those doing outstanding work in this area.

Nominated in the ‘Best Association Event’ category, the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA) is one of 60 finalists across 15 Award Categories.

The judging panel, chaired by Australian events industry leader John Trevillian AM, said that the judges had gone through a rigorous process in order to determine the finalists.

“Each category was separately assessed by three independent judges, and it has been an extremely competitive process. The high standard of entries and the submission requirements such as auditing, research and references, enabled the panel to validate the merit of the finalists,” said John Trevillian AM, Chair of the 2019 Judging Panel.

Chief Executive Officer of the GTA, Chris Muir said being recognised as a finalist in the Awards was a tribute to all involved in this 30th Australasian Gaming Expo.

AGE is the ‘must-attend’ event for suppliers and buyers in the hotel, club and casino industry. It is the place to see both domestic and international products and services, network, attend thought-provoking seminars, and develop new business partners.

The finalists will join the EEAA community for the awards celebration at the Myer Mural Hall in Melbourne on 4 December.

Next year’s AGE will be held at ICC Sydney from 11 to 13 August. For more information, contact info@gamingta.com.
