Chris Muir is the CEO of the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), the host of the Australasian Gaming Expo and Seminar Program.

Before joining GTA in 2018, Chris was Chief of Staff to the NSW Minister for Transport and Infrastructure. Chris led a small team assisting the Minister to oversee the delivery of some the NSW Government’s most significant and high profile projects.

Previously, Chris was the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Legal Officer of iSignthis Ltd, which offers identity through payment authentication, and is quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX : ISX).

Earlier roles at AUSTRAC included Director Enforcement and Director Rules & Guidance.

He began his career in private legal practice, having graduated in law and economics from The University of Melbourne.
